Monica (Liz) Smith - Cummunications 2011-current and Past Secretary
Liz is a proud Batch 13 member of Church Teachers’ College where her major was Early Childhood Education. In addition to being a member of the College’s Canterbury Club, Magazine Committee, she is the founding president of the Circle K Club (Kiwanis International sponsored group for tertiary institutions) and Ms. Spathodia 1980. After teaching in the Kindergarten Dept., for the most part, at the Priory School in Jamaica, she moved to the Cayman Islands in 1980 and has held many positions within the academic and human resources fields. Her contributions to the Cayman Islands community and the Caribbean region include membership in Lions International, St. George’s Anglican Church Committee, Triple C School Board of Governors, TCS Parent-Teachers’ Association, St. George’s Pre-School Board of Governors, Cayman Islands Athletic Association and Leader of the Education Strategy of the Cayman Islands Vision 2008 Strategic Plan. She is the founding Secretary of the Cayman Islands Early Childhood Association and founding President of the Caribbean Early Childhood Association. Her most recent community involvement was as founding member of the Cayman Thanksgiving Committee established to design and promote a weekend long national celebration to honor Caymanian heritage, culture and way of life, culminating on the first Sunday of December which marks the passage of the hurricane season.
Liz was appointed to the CTCAAi Board in May 2011 and is a member of the STAR Committee.

Mrs. Ruby Anderson - Director as of 2015
Mrs. Anderson is a past student of Church Teachers' College and is currently a member of the CTAAAi Board of Directors.
Ruby Anderson: Batch 1
Ruby Anderson (Mc Donald) is a graduate of Batch 1 Church Teachers' College. She spent over twenty one years serving at the primary to tertiary levels in the education system and is a former President of the North Central District Association of the JTA.
She is a Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and qualified as member of the Million Dollar Round Table. She retired from Guardian Life Insurance Company as the AVP Training and Development and is now the Managing Director of Impact Training Consultants Limited. She holds a B.A. from the University of Western Ontario and a Diploma in Education and MSc HRD from the University of the West Indies.

Clover Hughie-Scott - Secretary 2010 - 2013

Clover M. Hughie-Scott, Batch11-graduate of Church Teachers College, taught at Petersfield and Savanna-la-Mar secondary schools in Westmoreland Jamaica prior to relocating with her family to New England, USA. While working in the Insurance Industry, Ms. Hughie-Scott was issued a challenge by a retiring school board of education member to help the "West Indians who were not making it". Ms Hughie-Scott responded by helping to form the West Indian Parent-Teachers Forum which founded a summer school to address the issues. She became the first secretary.
Ms. Hughie-Scott, also served on the West Hartford Interfaith Coalition as a board member of the affordable housing advocate group, helping to train the members of the S. Quaker Lane Cooperative while serving as a director on the Board of the Brace-Dale Association Inc. -the co-op in which she lived.
Ms. Hughie-Scott, a strong advocate of Volunteerism, also was a teacher with the Cigna Ninja Tutors, where the children were bussed to the company for classes. She served as a literacy volunteer teacher with the Travelers Ins. Co and also helped with Meals-on-Wheels as a server.
After relocating to Florida, Ms. Hughie-Scott continued to volunteer by collecting can goods for groups in need under the auspices of PRC to whom she was employed at the time.
Ms Hughie-Scott was elected as Director/Secretary to the CTCAAi Board of Directors in May 2010.

Heather Kettle is a past student of Church Teachers' College and a member of Batch 16. She taught at Bethabra All Age and May Day High School before migrating to the United States. She is presently employed with the Broward County School Board and works in the Exceptional Student Education Department with Pre-Kindergarten students. Her involvement in the Broward Teachers' Union led her to serve as a Steward from 2009- 2011. She was elected as Vice President of the Home Owners Association and is actively involved in the community in which she resides.
Mrs. Kettle was elected Assistant Secretary for Church Teachers College Alumni Association Inc in 2010.
